Yerba Mate, Guarana, Damiana - A Miracle Pill?

In Salt Lake City a company called Dynakor Pharmacal has released a pill which, according to their words, “facilitates weight loss while allowing users to consume as much food as they choose”.


…a group of people taking three herbs — yerba mate, guarana and damiana — lost an average of 11 pounds in 45 days while the placebo group lost nearly no weight.

Although I’m fully aware of the energy consuming features of these herbs, the Dynakor Pharmacal’s report sounds more like a sales pitch. However, it’d sure be nice to see some comprehensive research done on the field of this subject.
