Benefits of Caffeine Increase With Age
A research has shown that sleep-deprived individuals have improved memory and reasoning after consuming caffeine. The benefits of caffeine for brain and central nervous system are usually observed when using moderate levels of it.
Also the benefits of caffeine seem to increase with age. In a recent study women consuming at least 3 cups of coffee a day had slower rate if cognitive decline than those who drank only one cup or less.
A moderate dose of caffeine is up to 300 milligrams per day. Children, pregnant women and people with cardiovascular diseases should discuss their caffeine consuming habits with a health care specialist.
