Cannabis Blooper at a Japanese Airport
Last Sunday, 25th of May, an officer at Tokyo’s Narita airport decided to test their sniffer dog against the rules by hiding a bag of cannabis to the side pocket of a randomly selected suitcase. However, the plan went totally wrong.
The dog didn’t detect the bag and the officer lost track in which passengers suitcase the bag was slipt into. This left the passenger to walk away with a cannabis bag with street value of $10,000 dollars. Tokyo customs has asked to return the 142 gram marijuana package by anyone who finds it.
Couple of days later Japan’s customs – known for its strict policies for both hard and soft drugs – has officially apoligised for planting cannabis on an incoming passenger. Whether or not the bag has been returned still remains a mystery.
