Ginseng Grown From A Single Cell In Vietnam
A research program between Vietnam and the Republic of Korea has been going deep into studying the cellular biomass technology and ways to grow Ginseng in laboratory.
Their work yielded success as they were successful growing the world’s most precious Ngoc Linh ginseng from a single cell in laboratory conditions. This means a ginseng plant can now be multiplied from a parent plant’s single cell.
The substances extracted from these plants are similar to natural ones. The Panax vietnamensis scientists managed to multiply is listed as the word’s top five most rare ginseng species. This break-trough also helps to retain this precious gene.
