London gives $6.9 millions for Ginseng Research
The University of Western Ontario in London has got 6.9 million dollars from the province of London for researching the ginseng’s diseases treating potential.
Part of the work is examine the different varieties of ginseng and try to isolate the ones that work for specific diseases. This can help the scientist to develope even more effective strains.
Also the differences between the ginseng grown in Ontario and North-America will be compared. The potential treatments ginseng may provide in addition to common cold and flu include for example diabetes, impotency, and memory problems.
