Milk with Ginseng Boosts Immunity?
A team of American researches have made an examination whether drinking whole cow’s milk with ginseng can increase the body’s white blood cells, and this way help increasing one’s immunity. The idea of this was got from the traditional Eastern and Asian medicine.
The milk used in the test was chosen to be cow’s milk instead of goat’s milk or other possible substances, since in Eastern and Asian – also called Ayurvedic – medicine it is considered being a strengthening driver for medicines.
The results were promising. Among other things, the blood samples taken from the volunteer participant showed statistically significant overall increase in the level of white blood cell activation. The full results of this study will be presented this fall.
