Nature's Herbal Sleep Remedies
It is not always easy to relax and start sleeping, especially when you are stressed. Some natural herbs contain properties that help the body to relax and may also help you to fall in sleep easier.
Herbs such as peppermint and chamomile are well known as relaxing teas. Relaxing Kava kava has a long history of use in the Pacific Polynesia and Australia. In small doses it is relaxing, larger doses may cause fatigue.
Valerian root is known to cause sedative effects. It is usually sold as a power packed in capsules and found in many stores selling herbal remedies. Other relaxing herbs include e.g. skullcap, kanna, and intoxicating mint.
