Over 2000 Years Old Stash Of Cannabis Found
Recently over two thousand years old dried cannabis plants was found from a tomb of shaman in China. The marijuana was so well preserved it had retained its green color.
The drug is thought to be around 2,700 years old, with researchers warning that it should not be smoked due to its lack of odour. Bridles, a harp and archery equipment were also found in the tomb.
An the article published in the Journal Of Experimental Botany this is the oldest finding of cannabis as a pharmacologically active agent. There was totally 789 grams of marijuana in the tomb.
