Pubs Breaking The New Law In Netherlands
Many pubs and restaurants in Netherlands are rebelling against the new law according to which smoking inside public places is forbidden. The new law come into effect in July.
According to the union the income of the Netherlands’ pubs and restaurants have dropped by a third from the point they were before the new law. Some pubs are about to close their doors, since the business is so low.
Some of the pubs have started to allow smoking indoors again, which can be noticed from the ashtrays placed on the tables. This far police has given tickets to 500 restaurants or pubs for breaking the law.
