Coffee
Coffea is a bush growing native in Africa and Asia. The seeds, coffee beans, contain caffeine and are used to manufacture the world's most popular drug, coffee.

Coffea shrub.
The world wide history of coffee is hundreds of years old. It has been used in religious ceremonies for example in Africa. Nowadays coffee is used often in social settings.
The different flavors of coffee are produced by roasting the beans to various degrees. The roasted coffee beans are grinded and the grind or powder is then brewed to a hot stimulating drink. Often small amounts of sugar, milk or cream are mixed with hot coffee drink.
The effects of coffee are stimulating due to caffeine. Mixing milk or cream with coffee tends to extend the stimulating effect as the coffee stays longer in digestion.2007 Herbal-drugs.org · Disclaimer
